Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

I have to be missing something simple here...

I have 3 layers on a slide and all I want to do is add slide from top to one layer, slide from left to another layer and slide from right to the third layer but I just can't seem to find where to put that. I have all transitions selected but I'm not seeing any sort of dropdown to say what effect I want to add to each layer. :/

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hey jhale1966,

You can control the layer movements and animations with the settings located in the Transitions tab of the Layers section. If you hover over these options a popup window will appear with additional description. In case you're looking for different linear movements, you should try the Offset options.

Unfortunately I'm still not seeing anywhere that I can choose the actual transition. On several YouTube videos (I'm guessing for older versions) there were dropdowns for Transition In and Transition Out where you could pick what you want. I'm not seeing these in the latest version.

There is no dropdown menu available for layer transitions anymore. As I've mentioned you need to use the settings located in the Transitions tab of the Layers section, for example OffsetX and OffsetY. Please read the tooltips of these options by hovering over them as they provide useful information on each settings' purpose.

OK - I was able to do the Slides from the different directions that I wanted but I'm not seeing where to select the 2D and 3D transitions no matter where I place the mouse or click. All of them are selected in 'Select transitions'.

The layer and slide transitions are two different things and they are animating different elements. If you're looking for slide animations you can find and select them in the Slide Transition section, you just have to click on their names. Please note that you have to have a slide background set up for the slide transitions to work.

There are multiple sources available you check that will help you get started using LayerSlider.
You can import the demo sliders from the Template Store to see what settings we used and how we set them up exactly.
You can also read the tooltips with descriptions of the settings by hovering over each one of them.
The documentation also contains useful information and examples that you can check and read on the following url: https://support.kreaturamedia.com/docs/layersliderwp/documentation.html
