    Hey Paola,

The layers are not properly responsive beacuse you have formatted them with custom HTML. Also, the HTML codes you have used are really outdated, they are deprecated and invalid under HTML5.

You will need to use plugin's built-in settings to style your layers, these options are located under the Styles tab of the Layers section. Furthermore, if you're looking for a fullwidth layout it is recommended to use the plugin's fullwidth mode.

    Hi,

I have no idea of what you are talking about.

I mean I dont really know the HTML code and I think I used the normal settings to set my layers.

Im gonna attach 2 screenshots to show you my settings hoping to get them fixed with your help.

    Thanks a lot

    Paola

I was referring to the HTML codes that you entered to the layer content fields, for example: <font color="#03015b" size="7"><b>C.S.M.</b></font>

Unfortunately nesting HTML like this is not valid. You will need to enter only text to these fields and format them with the font color, size and weight settings under the Styles tab.

    Hello,

thank you very much for the fast reply,

I modified the HTML u suggested me, but im still experiencing errors,

The layer should cover the header even on mobile and when I reduce the size of the browser.

    Please check the attached files.

    Best Regards

    Paola

We can see the problem, but unfortunately it is caused by your theme's resizing method.
As the browser window gets smaller, at a certain breakpoint the theme applies a different layout on the whole site. This affects mobile devices as well, and it pushes the slider down to the bottom making this misalignment issue.

As this is generated by the theme we cannot fix it from our end. I'm afraid you will need to contact the theme author with this case.

In the meantime you could check if your theme or its builder provides a better way to insert the slider to your site (Appearance -> Widgets) where it does not get affected by this layout change.

    Hi,

I contacted my template support, but they said its not about the template, it depends entirely on the layerslider.

I dont know anymore what to do to fix this.

It is certainly related to your theme and you can easily confirm this. When your site changes to mobile view, the whole site's layout is being altered not just the slider.

Unfortunately your theme author's response was not very helpful or dedicated. However they will need to check on their resizing method and provide you with a way to properly apply it on the slider as well. Or alternatively provide you with an area/widget/div where you can insert the slider that will be compatible with this layout change so the slider can move together with it properly.
