Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

I don't understand what the various options of the background settings mean.  I read your documentation but it doesn't define the each setting (See image attached).

    1. What does "auto" mean?
    2. What does "cover" mean?
    3. What does "contain" mean?

Also how do you change the slider background to a color?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hey Lin,

'Auto' is the default option, it basically leaves the background image as is without resizing. 'Cover' means that the plugin will resize the image in such a way where it overlaps the whole slider even if it means cropping the image. 'Contain' on the other hand will try to cover the whole slider but it stops resizing the images once it reached the sides so it won't be cropped.

You can set a slide background color in the Slide Background Image section of the Slides area or in the Slider Settings under the Appearance tab.

Thank you!  I normally wouldn't take up your time by posting a "simple thanks" reply to read but I do want to recognize your effort.  Unfortunately, I've had to contact support too many times for too many other products and services (not yours) in recent years.   And almost equally as often, the first response I receive is a canned response about the general topic.  They don't seem to actually read my question so their response isn't appropriate.  And perhaps even more sadly, this pattern repeats with follow-up requests.  As I began to read yours, I realized that I was expecting the same behavior.  I was pleasantly surprised to find your answer timely and directly answered my issues. Thanks again!
