Hi there, i have turned on shuffle mode but it doesnt work. I noticed on the shuffle mode switch it states that this feature does not work with looping. I cannot find looping anywhere, what does it mean and how can i see what looping i have?
with regards the looping, i have cycles set to 0, which presumably means that it will loop indefinitely, so does this mean that the shuffle option will not work while this is set to 0? I also tried setting the cycle to 1 and the shuffle still didnt work.
Yes, zero is the default option and it is the value you need for shuffle.
I have checked your slider and the shuffle is working as inteded at the moment. Please note that the shuffle mode works the following way. It sets up a random order of the slides, let's say 2-4-1-3 and will keep displaying the slides in this order throughout the loops. Once the site has been refreshed or navigated away and back to the slider it will recalculate this order and display a different one. Basically it is a different order on every page load.
so i have loaded the site on 3 different pcs with 3 different browsers and everytime it loads the slider with the aeroplane first, this is not shuffling as you say it should.

Looping means that how many times your slideshow will be repeated.
This option (cycles) is right above the shuffle setting.

That is because you have slide 1 selected as the starting slide, so the slideshow will always start with it and then shuffle the rest of the slides.
You will need to enter 'random' to the Start with slide option in the Slider Settings, this way the starting slide will also be randomly selected.
