Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
I am trying to modify the interactive map slider demo in order to make it look like images appear when mousing over the location dots.
I have achieved this in the preview window by placing an image layer above a location dot layer and setting it's opacity to 0 in Styles. This makes it appear like there is nothing there when the slider loads.
In order to make it appear I put an opacity of 1 in my hover transition for the image so it "appears" when the mouse crosses over it.
This works great in a the preview but does not work when I actually use the slider on my site.
After messing around with the opacity settings I have discovered that the the transition opacity cannot override the style opacity to make something more opaque only to make something less visible.
Can you investigate and see if that is that case for you as well? This feature is pretty make or break for what I am doing unless I want to dive deep into custom css.
I've attached an image of what this should look like when functioning correctly.
Hey ADHDassassin,
Thank you for your feedback. We were able to reproduce the problem on our end as well and we are going to include a fix for this to an upcoming release.
