Hey, I had a theme bundled version of LayerSlider (I believe it was 5.6), but decided to purchase a license for the most recent version. I have the "Equestrian - Horses and Stables" theme and when I upgraded the LayerSlider plugin, my website navigation bar is now behind the slider instead of infant of it.
You will need to set a higher z-index value for your menu than the slider to solve this. You can set the z-index for the slider in the Slider Settings -> Appearance -> Custom Slider CSS field by entering z-index:1; or you could use an even lower number if 1 still does not make it.
